Fr. Dan Bassile
Father Dan Bassile was born in Brooklyn, New York. Where he began working on elevators, escalators and swing bridges for the NYCTA. He continued working on elevators when he moved to Florida in 1995. He was Ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on October 3, 2020. While assisting at Mass he felt a burning in his heart that God was inviting him to be the one to Consecrate the Body and Blood at the Altar. So, he retired from the elevator trade after 39 years and entered Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary. He was Ordained to the Priesthood on May 23, 2026. Then he hit the Priest Lottery and was assigned to Holy Family Catholic Church.
